We spent time with 125 five star reviews from Trustpilot to understand one simple thing.
What do creators actually love about Async?
The answer was not one feature, one template, or one shiny workflow. It was the feeling of finally being able to make the video without everything around the video getting in the way.
That matters more than ever. Video is no longer a nice extra. Wyzowl’s 2026 video marketing research found that 91 percent of businesses now use video as a marketing tool, and 93 percent of video marketers see it as an important part of their overall strategy. At the same time, time, cost, and not knowing where to start remain real blockers.
That is the gap Async is built for.
What stood out across 125 reviews
Across 125 reviews, five themes came up again and again:
1. The room does not matter anymore

Bedrooms, home offices, noisy streets, spaces with the AC running.
One creator recorded client work in an airport. Another recorded in a factory.
Magic Dust, our AI audio cleanup, helped make it all sound clean.
Reviewers told us it levelled the playing field. No soundproofed room or expensive gear needed. You no longer even need a perfect setup. Just record, clean it up, and publish.
For creators, this is a big deal because the best ideas do not always arrive in studio conditions. Async helps make sure the final video still sounds like they did.
2. The whole long form workflow lives in one place

Creators told us they wanted the full long form video workflow in one place, from recording and editing to audio cleanup, transcription, and publishing to YouTube and beyond.
Instead of stitching together three tools to finish one video, they could stay inside Async and keep moving. That meant less tab switching, fewer exports, and no need to learn a new interface for every part of the process.
For reviewers coming from other editors, this was one of the clearest differences. Async gave them a simpler, more useful way to work, so they could spend less time managing the workflow and more time making the video.
3. Support is run by actual humans

This one made us smile.
Customer support was named in dozens of reviews. Lisa. George. Helen. Sara. Real people, replying quickly and actually helping.
Lost footage recovered, billing fixed, account questions answered the same day. One reviewer even bumped their rating from four stars to five because of a single conversation with the team.
In a world where support often feels like shouting into a form, creators noticed that Async felt human.
We are very proud of that. :)
4. First videos go live on day one
A lot of reviewers published their first long form video the same day they signed up.
That is probably our favorite pattern!
Async is simple enough for someone launching their first channel, but useful enough for creators who already have 100 videos behind them:
- First timers used it to get over the blank page.
- Experienced creators used it to move faster.
Same product, different ambitions. Both getting to publish sooner!
Adobe’s 2025 creator research found that 86 percent of creators are already using creative generative AI, with top uses including editing, enhancement, ideation, and asset creation. Creators are not asking AI to replace their taste. What they want is for AI to simply remove the slow parts.
That is exactly where Async fits.
5. Creators are using Async in more ways than we expected
The reviews came from all kinds of people.
- First time YouTubers launching long form channels.
- Creators with 100 plus videos and years of experience.
- Educators turning lectures and courses into shareable content.
- Researchers using transcription to support academic work.
- Commercial videographers cleaning up client audio.
- Small business owners building video marketing channels.
- Founders and operators publishing long form content for their audience.
The common thread was not a single use case, but a decision.
A decision to stop waiting for the perfect setup. To stop losing time to technical friction. To stop treating long form video like something that requires a studio, a team, and a free weekend.
Creators are choosing Async because it helps them get the creative work done.
Thank you to the creators who reviewed us
To the 125 creators who took the time to write, thank you!
You told us what is working. We are listening to the rest too.
And if your first Async video was recorded from a bedroom, a busy office, an airport, or somewhere with suspiciously loud AC, we see you.
Keep recording!
