No Black Bars
Widescreen footage can still belong on a phone. It just needs an edit designed for the space rather than a careless crop. No Black Bars is a vertical video template for turning cinematic footage into polished mobile content. Its full-height composition keeps the subject visible, gives the headline a deliberate position and makes every part of the screen feel intentional. Use this 9:16 video template to adapt campaign films, travel footage, interviews or product scenes for Reels, Shorts and Stories. Reposition each clip so the important action remains clear in the mobile video format, then use the typography to add context without covering the subject. The layout is especially useful when a social media vertical video needs to retain the atmosphere of the original wide shot. Open the template in Async and replace the clips, copy and colors. Adjust the framing scene by scene, add captions where needed and finish with your logo or call to action.
